About Dogs For Autism:
Dogs for Autism’s mission is to increase independence and quality of life for affected children and their families, through the use of carefully-bred
and trained service dogs. Founded as Dogs for Disabled, this organization has served the Greenville community since 1991. By training dogs to assist
with a wide variety of disabilities, over time the program gained a reputation as one of the highest highest-quality service dog agencies in the
country. More than 200 dogs have been placed in 11 states, Canada, and South America. In 2007, recognizing the immense and rapidly increasing need for
dogs to assist autistic children, DFA altered its name and narrowed its focus to concentrate on families dealing with the challenges of autism.
