Support & FAQ

Why is building muscle so difficult for many out there, and do some of us have an unfair muscle building ability over other less fortunate souls?

Well, the answer is yes, this is true - unfortunately the good lord has not made us all equal (sigh).

But do not despair, the answers are here...

Question One

Q... Why do some males build muscle very easy (as seen in the gym), whilst others most certainly do not (like myself!)...

Well, basically it comes down to genetics - and much of the time different anabolic substances (and whether you are taking them or not). Let it be known that it is impossible to reach the size, vascularity and amazing form that top level (and even intermediate) bodybuilders display without the use of anabolics - simple as that.

Without them, the playing field is greatly leveled - but then one generally will NEVER reach the look that you are seeking.

Diet dies play a role, as do other supplements such as creatine and so forth - but to answer your question, genetics and supplement choices are usually the decisive factor in the game of muscle.

Question Two

Q... Are some people favored with better hormonal profiles for the sport of bodybuilding, and if so - how can we correct the situation?

A... Great question, and the answer is a most certain yes. For example, hormonally there are many variables within the body that are either helping us or hindering us. For example, testosterone is the master hormone for the male, but one male may have twice the amount floating around the body as the next person. If this is not bad enough, how about this one. With that little bit of testosterone you may have, it could be completely bound with SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin), and then further suppresed with cortisol excesses due to stress.

Really the only way to address such issues is with a blood test - then measures can be taken to bring things back into balance.
